Justin Bieber Never Say Never - TuesDayVD #5

Hello! How is everyone doing on this beautiful morning? Today is a very boring day for DVD's here in the United States, unless you are a die hard Bieber fan and are still running wild on "Beiber Fever". If you are still running on Bieber Fever than just sit back, relax, and keep reading on. Because "Never Say Never" is probably the biggest DVD release this week, we will unfortunately have to cover that here on TuesDayVD.

Usher and Justin Bieber

I'm sure that most of you by now know who Justin Bieber is, so he doesn't really need much of an introduction. If you don't know much about him I'll just briefly summarize his road to success. From what I have researched he was always into music and played instruments at a very young age. As he grew older videos of him were uploaded to the site we all know and love, YouTube. Eventually people saw him and really liked his stuff and an artist known by the name of Usher signed him onto his label. The rest is now history. He has become the biggest star to ever come from YouTube, and he gives hope to anyone on YouTube that wishes to "make it".

Enough about the man of the hour, or should I say boy of the hour. Let's get on to some of this week's major DVD releases here in the United States.

Blue Valentine
Directed by: Derek Cianfrance
Starring: Ryan Gosling, Michelle Williams, and others.
Released at theaters on: December 29, 2010

No Strings Attached
Directed by: Ivan Reitman
Starring: Natalie Portman, Ashton Kutcher, and others.
Released at theaters on: January 21, 2011

(WILL BE RELEASED ON DVD ON MAY 13TH)
Justin Bieber: Never Say Never
Directed by: Jon M. Chu
Starring: Justin Bieber, Boyz II Men, Miley Cyrus, and others.
Released at theaters on: February 11, 2011

As you can see there weren't that many DVDs that were released today that are of major importance. If you want to mention one DVD that I didn't cover then please leave a comment on this post for our other viewers to see. If you liked what you read today then please pass on this link to all your friends and family so they may also follow our blog, it would really mean a whole lot to us. If you haven't taken the time to vote on our poll, which is located at the bottom left-hand corner of the webpage, then please give it a look. And as always, if you haven't watched our most recent video just click on the link below and give it a go. I'm Christian and you have just been ChrisCrossed! Peace!

Pirates Month - ChrisCrossMonday

Hello there everyone! Sorry for the late post, but the internet has not been really friendly to us at all this past week and a half. Tonight we will cover last week's poll and introduce a new one. Sadly this week's poll didn't get much love for only 46 people voted. The question that I asked was: "What Zelda game are you most excited for?" Here are the results.
Ocarina of Time 3D
  16 (35%)

Skyward Sword
  26 (56%)

A Link to the Past (Remake)
  4 (9%)

As you can see, most of the Zelda fans can't wait to get their hands on the upcoming Wii title, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. And I can't blame them, because I can't wait to get my hands on it either. As of now I am anticipating Ocarina of Time 3D, for nostalgic reasons, and it just looks so cool compared to the original. Let's just hope that at this year's E3 Nintendo drops some much wanted news on Zelda.

Usually here on ChrisCrossMondays we cover the newest releases of video games that come out this week. But due to the time that this blog is being posted it is probably redundant to name the games, as you probably already did other internet searching to find out those sweet release dates.

Instead, tonight I will highlight some of the sweet stuff that you should be looking out for during our Pirates Month! Here is a list of things that you should be expecting this month from ChrisCrossMedia.

Review of LEGO sets from the Pirates of the Caribbean series
Review of LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean video game
PS2 gameplay (let your imagination run wild with that one)
Pirates related skits
...and of course it wouldn't be a ChrisCrossMedia month without Dano.

There will obviously be a lot more content than that, but that is just a little taste of what is yet to come. Hope that you are enjoying the theme as much as we are and we hope to have your full support as always. I'm Christian and you have just been ChrisCrossed! Peace!

Please take some time to vote on our poll down below, located in the bottom left-hand corner of the page.

Lego Universe Coming Soon!

(10/20/2010)....By: Christian
Now with only less than a week away from the launch of Lego Universe, we would like to fill you in on what exactly the game is all about.

First things first, is the game itself. It will be available October 22nd, two days away, for everyone in Europe and October 26th for everyone here in North America, for the low price of $39.99.

Just like any other Massive Multi-player Online Game, it requires a subscription so that you can play online. When you purchase the game it is included with a one month membership, but if you want to continue to play it then it will cost you. The prices are as follows:
(Gathered from the Lego Shop Official Website)

There are currently players online already, and that is because Lego Universe offered an early access to the game to the "Lego Founders" on October 8th because they had pre-ordered the game before September 27th.

In Lego Universe, you start out by creating your own minifigure and enlist him into the Nexus Force, a group which was created to stop the evil force of the Maelstrom. The Maelstrom is an evil force that is trying to destroy imagination itself. In countless hours of fun you should be able to find the secrets of the Maelstrom and find a way for it to finally be defeated and save imagination!

The game looks amazing and fun and should be a good play for veteran MMO players and to new ones alike.

Below are wallpapers you may use from Lego Universe

ChrisCrossing LEGOLand!

(10/26/2010) 5:23 PM....By: Chris

Hey what's up guys!  We posted a NEW video yesterday, but I have been sooooo busy with stuff!  So NOW, I'm finally able to make a quick blog post about our trip!

For about the last 4 or 5 months, Christian and I have been talking about going to the LEGOLand Discovery Center, which is only about 15 min from our houses!  We finally found time, and what better time than during our LEGO Month!  We were greeted at the entrance by a GIANT Giraffe and Spongebob, both being made out of entirely Lego!  The entrance/main floor is mostly a large Lego Store.  Most of the items there are things you can generally find at any toy store or Lego Store in your area...aside for a few exclusive items!  Then we noticed that there was a tour!

$20 a person, but because we are so cool, the guy let us in with only one ticket!  (We got ChrisCrossed this time!!)  Judging from the outside of this building, you wouldn't expect much.  It doesn't look reletively big from the outside.  But boy, were we wrong!  The start of the tour has a large display of Lego Chicago!  With working lights and moving effects!!  We were both in awe and amazement!!  We could NOT believe how awesome it truly was...there was so much to look at!  Then the tour continues to the Jungle Expedition sponsored by the Rainforest Cafe.  This area was my personal favorite!  If you have been to the Rainforest Cafe before, it's like that, but instead of robotic animals, it animals made out of legos!  It was so cool, really detailed with lighting and sounds too.  There was even a life-size Indiana Jones complete with the golden idol!  After that, there are some caves with spiders and "lego lava", then you come to a room where you have the opportunity to take pictures with life-size Lego Batman, Lego R2D2, and Lego Darth Vader!  (We took pictures with all of them, haha)  Then around the corner there is a dark ride!  A DARK RIDE?!?!  I couldn't believe it!  The small building I would pass up all the time had a ride in it.  The ride was short, and it's nothing like you find at Disney World, but it was still fun nontheless.  After the ride your able to purchase a picture of yourself on the ride, which we did!

Look Mom!  No hands!!

As we are buying our pictures, the guy at the counter asked us if we went upstairs yet....Upstairs?!?!  This place started feeling like Willy Woka's Chocolate Factory!  So many things pack in such a small building!  Upstairs there was a workshop where we learned how to build the Sears Tower out of Lego.  Then there was a Lego Factory where they show us how Legos are made.  And lastly, there was a Lego 4D Adventure, which we didn't have time to do, but it looked like fun!  There was also a FoodCourt, and an area where kids can build Legos, and a play area for kids too!  This place was crammed with things to do!  If you have a chance to go over to LEGOLand Discovery Center, we highly recommend it!  Check out our new video as we vlog the whole trip experience!

Lego Star Wars

(10/12/2010) 4:02 PM....By: Chris Pavlou

(LEGO Group est. 1949)

With LEGO Universe coming out later this month, we wanted to take an in depth look at LEGO's history with Videogames!  In this episode, we start things off with the LEGO Star Wars series!  Next we will be taking on LEGO Indiana Jones!

Quick re-cap of video:

We abosolutley love the LEGO Star Wars series!  Like we say in the video, if you like 3D platformers like Mario 64, and if you like defeating bosses and solving puzzles in Zelda, then you'll love this game!  It's really fun for any gamer, of any age!!

Although there are moments of humor and some story plots are slightly changed, the overall story of Star Wars is there!  It really is the only Star Wars game on the market that stays true to the movie plots...which is one of the aspects why these games are so popular among fans!  All the LEGO Star Wars games are fun, and engaging, and some parts in the game really make you think and plan out what your next move will be.  If you have never played one of these games before, you should really head to the store, find a site online, or ask a friend so you can get your hands on a copy!  I can honestly say that within the first 10 mins, you will be hooked!  Hope you enjoyed our quick overview/review of the series!  You have just been ChrisCrossed!

Site Update?

(10/7/2010) 10:41 AM

Hey what's up guys!  We hope you are enjoying the site and it's features so far!  If you are reading this, you are in the Daily Blog scetion of the site...which will be updated, DAILY :P

Somethings that we wanted to mention was that we plan to have some major updates on the site this coming week!  We plan to launch our shop soon, where you can buy some exclusive ChrisCross merchandise like t-shirts, hoodies, and hats!

Also, with every good news, there is bad news!  Good news is our forum system will be totally face-lifted!  It will be MUCH easier to use, and MUCH easier for us to manage.  At the momment, the current forum system we have is lacking many, many features that we need to run it.  So we decided yesturday, after noticing how many features it was lacking, to go with a different provider...this is the GOOD News!  The BAD News is that all the log-in's you guys made yesturday will be deleted, and all the posts that are currently there will not remain.  When we start with the new provider, we start fresh.  So feel free to still use the forums if you like for now, but just so you know, the forums will close and be updated by the end of this week!

So that's all the news we have for you right now!  We are planning some really cool videos for our LEGO Month!  and we promise a few other BIG surprises coming very soon!

Thanks Again Guys!  You have Just Been ChrisCrossed!

(BTW, you can click on the titles of the blogs and make comments to our posts if you like!)
