Hello everyone and welcome to another week of ChrisCrossBlogs! Today on ChrisCrossMonday I will bring you the new video game releases for this week along with a detailed report of last week’s poll results.

Last week I asked whether or not you thought it was time for Nintendo to have a new console. As you can see below, 57 out of 71 people thought that it was indeed time for a new console. And I couldn’t agree with you more. Yes, there could be a few things that could be done to the Wii via wireless update, but overall it is time for Nintendo to really get into next generation gaming.

Most of you know by now that the new Nintendo console will be playable at this year’s E3, and that ChrisCrossMedia will be there to fill you in on all the exciting news. We’re as pumped as all of you and we can’t wait to see and listen to what Nintendo has in store for the near future. And with all that being said, here are this week’s video game releases.

ChrisCross Monday

Hello there everyone! Hope you all had a Happy Easter, that is if you do celebrate it, and if you don't well sorry for bringing it up. :P

By now I'm sure that most of you have heard the announcement of the Wii's successor. It is going to be playable at this years' E3, and is slated to launch in 2012. If you want to read more on the subject then just follow this link which will redirect you to our great friends at Zelda Universe.

With a new week, comes a new poll. This weeks' poll is going to revolve around the newly announced "Wii 2" and whether or not you think it's time for a new console. Just scroll down to the bottom of the page and you will see the new poll on the left hand side. As far as last weeks' poll is concerned here are the details below.

Mortal Kombat	5 (7%)
Portal 2	37 (56%)
SOCOM 4: U.S. Navy SEALs	1 (1%)
Other	22 (33%)

To my surprise, Portal 2 came out on top. Don't get me wrong, I love Portal 2 and think that its an amazing game, but I really thought that Mortal Kombat would take the cake. This new Mortal Kombat stuck to its roots and went back the the classic 2D style fighting that made it famous to begin with. Regardless, thanks to everyone who voted and I hope to see you all vote again on this week's poll.
