It's hard to say this, but someone has to say it, Sonic Month is officially over. And though you still may see a Sonic the Hedgehog background on YouTube, Twitter, and Blogger he is no longer part of the CCM family...for now.
Starting today, the first Monday of the month, we are beginning our much anticipated Legend of Zelda Month! We are excited just as much as all of you for this theme. This year has marked many anniversaries in the gaming industry, with Master Chief turning 10, Sonic turning 20, and of course Zelda turning 25. Not only was Zelda the first month that we ever did, it is also one of our most popular themes to date, and that's why we enjoy making Zelda related content. This time around though Zelda means a lot more to us than in the past. There is another anniversary though that wasn't mentioned, and that's ChrisCrossMedia turning 2! On November 30th 2011 we turned 2 on YouTube with ChrisCrossMedia. On that day, two years ago, we posted our first video on the channel we have all grown to love. It had the foundation to what we do now, but boy were we different. It's a good change though, and we're sure that we can all agree that it was for the best.
Back in December of 2009 we started our "themed months" that we have grown to be know for, and our first month was none other than The Legend of Zelda. If my memory is still working correctly, I'm sure that we had our first giveaway for The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks for the Nintendo DS, but correct me if I'm wrong. We have now gone full circle again and are beginning our fourth year on YouTube, but only our third as ChrisCrossMedia. There is no doubt that without all of you none of this would be possible, so we can't thank you enough.
We could go on and on about this, but we're sure that you know how much you all mean to us. So let's start off December with a bang and countdown the final days of 2011 together! This was one heck of a year, and the next will be bigger and better. Please stay tuned for our last month of 2011, it's going to be a blast! And as always, you have just been ChrisCrossed!
